Gearhart is a lovely, quiet town located on the Pacific Ocean south of Astoria and just north of Seaside. The scenic soft sand beach is pristine and level-great for running, walking, body surfing, clamming, kite flying and beach combing.

With no traffic lights, wide streets for walking and biking, public tennis courts, bowling alley and a park, there is something for everyone. Another special feature is Gearhart Golf Links which is the oldest public golf course west of the Mississippi.
